Construction Update - October 26, 2024

Trinity Lutheran Church

We are nearing the end of our project. We have scheduled our rededication service for November 10th. We hope to see everyone there. Work continues as this goal approaches.

This week we plan to begin to install the divider door between the sanctuary and the fellowship hall. The lighting controller will be programed and commissioned on Wednesday. Emil Frei out of St, Louis will install the original stained glass in the doors.

Other items remaining to do:

  • Install the shelves behind the baptismal font and behind the altar.

  • Install the top of the baptismal font (The lid has to be reworked and will not be ready by the dedication).

  • Install ceiling tiles in the be rear and side isles.

  • Touch up paint.

  • Finish wiring speakers.

  • Clean floors and set up chairs and hymnals.

The Trustees plan to host a work day on November 9th for any remaining tasks and other projects throughout the building. Please see this signup form or call the church office. signup.com/go/TLCTrustees.

Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement throughout this long process. Also a special thanks to the members of the Sanctuary Planning Committee who shaped a truly stunning worship space through many hours of collaboration.
