GBH Builders pulled down the plaster ceilings in the 3rd Floor church hallway and adjoining rooms.
Gooch Electric removed lights and secured loose conduit to the ceiling on the first and second floor halls.
Doug and Kevin Young have been working with Thomas Senter to rerun and organize network cabling to get it out of the way of our HVAC system

Paul Davis has begun a dry ice blasting process on the heavy soot damage in the fire source rooms.
Read MoreWith the mitigation phase coming to a close, reconstruction planning is underway. All contents have been either cleaned, cataloged and boxed up, or documented as non salvageable.
The Jefferson City Fire Department helped out with some demolition of non structural block walls. This was practice for them in emergency breaching block walls.

Read MoreThe large gym and lobby are clean and ready for air testing. We plan to meet with the city building inspector and the fire department next week to clear us for reentry of this space.
Read MoreIts been a busy week at Trinity for our clean up crews. They brought in two big lifts to clean smoke damage and soot off of hard to reach places in the gyms, stage, and sanctuary.
Read MoreSmoke mitigation work proceeds 7 days a week to keep on schedule. This weekend, crews continue to pull down drop ceilings and clean walls in the first floor gym lobby, restrooms, and concession stand. They also moved into the hallways on the second floor.
Read MoreThis morning, work continues on the cleanup process. Carpenters have put up a temporary wall that will form an ozone chamber in the cafeteria. This wall and door has to be stout enough to handle thousands of entries and exits. All our items and furniture that can be salvaged have to be deodorized.

These posts are not official announcements from church leadership about future plans. We understand that everyone is eager to help. Right now there is not a lot for us to do. Paul Davis of the Capital Region is doing a fantastic job of the cleanup and mitigation of fire and smoke damage. This process will require extensive cleaning of every surface of the building. For example, many ceilings will have to be dropped to provide access to all spaces that smoke can be hiding. I will try to post something every day to show you what is happening and what progress is being made.
